Hi everyone! We’re so excited to celebrate with you all on May 22 at the Chicago Cultural Center!

Since our ceremony blends both Hindu and Western traditions, we wanted to give you an overview of the ceremony day.

At 3:00 PM, we’ll kick things off with the Baraat, which is the groom’s celebratory procession. It’s a lively, music-filled entrance where guests are encouraged to join in, walk, dance, and enjoy the moment as we make our way into the venue lobby.

Once the Baraat arrives in the lobby, we’ll have a brief Milini ceremony, where close family members from both sides greet and welcome each other.

After that, we’ll invite everyone to take their seats inside the Preston Bradley Hall as the formal ceremony begins promptly at 3:30.
